Help us level up the Razzle and Dazzle of West High performances with dynamic moving head lights. This rock star technology used to be a touring show exclusive, but modern LED and robotic technology has brought high-quality units down to high-school price ranges. The Chauvet Professional Rogue R2X Moving Head Wash is a workhorse unit that is used in many professional venues across the nation, and can now be purchased for only $2000 a unit. West Drama is teaming up with DanceWest to fundraise for this serious upgrade to the quality of our performances. We hope to purchase ten Rogue R2X units to create lighting looks worthy of the 2022 NFHS Performing Arts School of Excellence.

West Drama is lucky to have student lighting designers creating the exciting atmospheres of our productions. Giving our students a chance to learn state-of-the-art technology meets the mission of preparing every West Drama technician the skills they need to get hired in the performing arts industry.

Individual donations are essential to show to grant organizations that West High is serious about creating the best high school performing arts venue in the state of Alaska. We will combine your contribution with our S.T.A.G.E. fundraisers, grant awards, and ticket sales to reach our big goal of $20,000. If we are successful enough in our fundraising, you will even get to see these units in use in our 25/26 productions!
