Peter Pan Goes Wrong (One-Act)

In Peter Pan Goes Wrong, the team behind the Tony Award®-winning global hit, The Play That Goes Wrong, bring their trademark comic mayhem to the J.M. Barrie classic Peter Pan. The much-loved members of The Cornley Drama Society once again battle against technical hitches, flying mishaps and cast disputes on their way to Neverland with hilarious and disastrous results. October 1, 2, 3 at the West High Auditorium.

Studying Theatre and Getting Excited

West High brings back an old favorite. Bring your K-5 students to West High for a Half Day or Full Day theatrical camp. Short workshops are taught by our fantastic high school performers and technicians. Students are introduced to everything from Acting and Voice, to Makeup and Improv!

Registration opens October 1, 2026. Only 70 slots available.

Full-day and Half-day camp available. 9:00-3:30pm. Twice yearly. Next training is on Friday, October 16, 2026.

As You Like It

Named one of The New York Times’ Best Shows of 2017, As You Like It is an immersive dream-like tale of faithful friends, feuding families and lovers in disguise.

Forced from their homes, Orlando, Duke Senior, his daughter Rosalind and niece Celia escape to the Forest of Arden, a fantastical place of transformation, where all are welcomed and embraced. Lost amidst the trees, the refugees find community and acceptance under the stars.

Featuring an original folk-pop score by Shaina Taub, with a flexible-sized cast and 90-minute running time, As You Like It is appropriate for all audiences and groups. Fall under love’s spell with this magical story!

Welcome to West Anchorage High School’s Theatre Booster Club Website. Our school’s program offers an exceptional theatrical experience for students. In fact, we think it offers the best high school theatrical experience in the State of Alaska. In any case, we have a lot of fun and work very hard on our productions. We operate out of one of the biggest and best venues in the state, the historical Anchorage High School Auditorium. So get involved with West Theatre! If you are a student, join Thespian Troupe #700, the oldest Thespian troupe in the State. If you are a parent, we need you in our Booster Organization.
